Search: Adidas cancels 'shackle shoes'

Adidas has cancelled a new shoe design that sparked widespread outrage.  The company previewed its JS Roundhouse Mid (who designed them?) online and received harsh criticism that the shoe was a symbol of slavery (or what other kind of person?). The shoes feature a bright orange chain and shackles around the ankles. Adidas said the shoes were not meant to symbolize oppression.
