Leaders in Los Angeles County approved a $1,000 fine for throwing a Frisbee (or what else?) on any beach in the county. They say the rule helps prevent injuries (to whom?) during peak beach season (when does that start?). According to the rule, no one is allowed to toss, throw, kick or roll either object (see photos of what is allowed).
