A historic penny (how old is it?) sold for $1.38 million at an Orlando, Fla., auction over the weekend.  The coin was made at the mint in Philadelphia during the first year the U.S. made its own currency (which landmark will debut on the quarter?).  Officials say it is the most a U.S. copper coin has sold for at an auction (see photos of a coin that sold for $4 million).
