Search: Former Arizona governor, 96, detained at Mexico/U.S. border

Former Arizona Gov. Raul Hector Castro, 96 (bio), was detained on June 12 near a border crossing in Nogales, Ariz., after a vehicle he was traveling in set off a radiation detector (what device was likely triggering the detector?). Castro says he doesn't believe his detention was racially motivated, but nonetheless he says he "expected more" in how he was treated, which, he says, included being questioned extensively under the hot Arizona summer sun (how hot is it typically in Nogales in June?).
