Search: High-profile priest admits fathering child

The Rev. Thomas D. Williams (bio) — a high-profile Catholic priest, moral theologian and the televised face of the Legion of Christ — has admitted that he broke his vow of celibacy and fathered a child (what other scandal is the Legion of Christ reeling from?). Williams didn't identify the child or the mother, but he said he would take a year off to search for "guidance on how to make up for my errors" (did the Legion of Christ know about Williams' child before the news broke?).
